Watch Your Mouth
The other day I was headed home from dinner with the roomies. I was texting a friend who asked me where I had gone to eat. I was tryin to text that I had gone the The Junction, but my phone seemed bent on thwarting my efforts every time I attempted to type "Junction". Frustrated I suddenly yelled out loud, "You can't spell Juction!! What are ya stupid!!" My roomies stopped dead in their tracks doubled over laughing. Oh schadenfreude :P

Horse Necropsy
One of the most fascinating things i have ever seen. A poor horse had a diseases foot that could not be fixed and caused him constant pain so he had to be put down. Then afterwards they performed a necropsy for educational purposes. It was so cool

The Lesson
The sweet rose sap
calls to him
he flits upon the gaudy petals
whispering sweet nothings
in her ear
as he drinks
the sweet liquer
She praises him
his bright pompous wings
she gives him all
to keep him close
providing him
the golden nectar he needs
He drinks til all
is gone
nothing left
His gaze upon the sweet
he flits away to partake
of another
she stands alone
nothing left to offer
life blood gone
The once sweet rose
bows her head

Day On The sheep Farm
Today was quite the adventure. me and a bunch of my classmates traveled up to wyoming to d breeding soundness exams on about 50head of ram. and yes it was just like it sound. we diveded up into six groups. First we had to catch our ram as it headed out of the gate then do a quick one-over on its feet eyes skin legs etc. Then the important part.....we had to make sure they were ready and capable of being good breeders this next season. This involved using a variety of instruments to check the rams testicals and penis and then gather a semen sample to be checked by our on-site lab. it was quite interesting i must say. lol

Waking Up Early
So for my animal science class we can get unlimited extra credit for participating in hands on out of class activities involved in agriculture. We can get 1% raise in our grade for every three hours. So in an effort to take advantage of this oppurtunity i'm going to Wyoming tomorrow with my class to give shots and do other things with some sheep on a farm. In order to do this I am required to get up at 4:30 tomorrow morning. After so many nights this week staying up late and no doubt staying up late tonight, i sense that i may very well pass out sometime tomorrow ha ha ha. Don't be surprised if i look like this.
A Good Read
so me and my roomies get up to some crazy things up here at college but last night was fairly tame but we did stay up till midnight reading out loud this book that my roomates aunt wrote. Its a really really amazing book and we were all way into it. It called Beckon i can't remember her first name but her last name is saxton. We were reading the manuscript cause they are still in editing as its not quite ready fro publication yet. she has another book coming out right now though and id its as good as this one it is deffinately worth the read. I reccomend you check into it.
Good News (But i'll still cry)
So i recently was happy to hear that my cute boy has recieved his mission call. he's going to oklahoma. I am so excited for him. It's going to be a great experience. However the idea of him leaving for so long makes me sad. I'm going to miss him terribly. But i am still very glad he is going and i wouldn't want it any other way :)
